Nights

Nights spent in your warmth,

As if near me,

Perhaps by soul,

But the warmth of your breath,

May never reach me.

It seems as if,

My heart live lifetimes,

In the few moments,

I share with you.

The soul wanders,

Wondering of futures,

Which will never be.

The Soul dreams,

to escape this dark reality,

I have found my nights,

In the comfort,

Of your welcoming Melody.
