I have always know

That eventually people

Will leave,

They will drift away,

Taking piece of you

With them.

I know,

I know that they will leave

But Everytime they do,

It still feels as if

My heart is ripped

Right out of my chest.

I’ve convinced myself

That I’m so used

To people leaving,

But it doesn’t mean

That it hurts

Any less when

They do.
