Roses blackened,

Leaves shrivelled,

The sky fell to darkness,

Thunderstorms raged in

the wind.

A strong fire remained

Untamed

By heavy rain.

Temperatures dropped low

Leaving me shivering

In the cold.

The day you left,

I Promise you,

I felt this all within

My soul.
