Together

And dive down into

Something deeper,

Something deeper than our

Lungs can bear.

And if we never see the surface

Again,

At least we can say

We felt something

So deep

That it took our breath

Away.

    added some great photos or videos to give your posts more, “pop”!

  37. Beautifully written, evoking all the senses (diving into the ocean, deep breath…). I like the symbol of the ocean as water stands for emotions and feelings according to psychology. Your lovely poem just made me think of love and passion between people whose ages are different. What about wanting all this your poem so wonderfully expresses but getting attracted to someone who is much younger or older than ourselves? How does age affect love and passion and how does poverty because of the Capitalist system affect them too? I recommend you these two lovely posts by my friend Mario Savioni. I think they connect very well with your poem here where there is always a gap between our dreams and desires, and our hard realities.
