Driving home and the stars are bright

I remember you said you like to watch them too .

I wonder if they are shining down on you .

Where you are ?

So far away from me .

I’m missing you , wishing you were here .

But I can’t find a way to feel close to you .

So I hop in the backseat of my car where you once kissed me so beautifully and stargaze alone !!

  17. Beautifully written, Nirant. The poem starts of hopeful, and then it takes a turn for a sense of longing. Life can be hard and we can’t always be around who we want to be. But we can always dream and hope 🙂

  25. Your poem reminds of a line which I read somewhere I don’t remember. It is, “Even if we are miles away, atleast we are looking at the same sky. And that’s equivalent to an eye contact, just a bit more romantic”
