Beneath Roses

Say a word, my ears won’t hurt,
Look into my eyes, I swear I won’t bite,
I promise I won’t cry with the sound of your voice,
So take my hand please, leave my side not.
Take my shadows in your hand,
Walk again by my footside,
Break my heart, I’m sure I won’t mind,
As long as you are ready to mend it again for me.
All I ask is breathe my air now,
Drink from my cup whenever ,
Eat by my plate wherever,
And have my name at heart forever.
Forget me not,forget me never,
My heart is yours to own,
Kill me with your eyes so dashing ,
I swear I will die a happy poor man,
Poor for all my riches I grant them to you.

  1. I love how your poem spoke with clarity of priorities …. happy poor man …. totally fine! Wealth goes beyond finances ….. true happiness and love make a man truly wealthy. ❤️

  2. Such bond’s in relations are never forgotten even by the world, where sharing the only riches you created within you – your feelings still makes you a happy poor for it is your special one. This piece touches the core of emotional confessions.😍😍
