Strangers no more !!

We start the night as strangers

In a cold tight bed.

The sun kind enough to hide

Us from our exposed backsides:

Yep warm walls

In a cold tight bed.

Phantom passion too weak to climb

And unaccustomed to the force time of a first night.

Warm slumber upon us:

Like Sibblings we sleep.

Strangers no more.

The sun return unashamed at what it hears:

It’s children’s light snores.

  6. It’s really sweet. I love the way how it starts with we start the night as strangers, and then concludes with “we are strangers no more” sleeping like siblings, yea it even can be related to the arranged marriage system, how two different people learn to be compatible with each other. Just like strangers they get tied in the relation and slowly blossom into a sweet sibling like bond. Reminds me of that song “Soul sister” loved the poem!!!
